KitchenAid KMT4116ER 4 Slice Toaster Review
This elegant KitchenAid 4 slice toaster is clean and classic in style. It is designed to be longer than the average toaster which comes in handy for toasting artisan or home baked bread without having to cut it in half. The two extra-long slots are also able to hold 2 normal sliced bread each, so in the end you could toast up to four slices at once. Not only are the slots extra-long but they are extra-wide too coming in at 1.5 inches. You know that your bagel will be toasted perfectly without getting squashed in the toaster. KitchenAid has equipped this toaster with a high lift lever so you will be able to remove any smaller foods like an English muffin or a pop-tart.
This toaster comes with one touch settings that allow you to tell the toaster what you need it to do. Not only can this toaster toast your bread but you can set it to toast your bagel, defrost that bread you left in the freezer, reheat the toast you forgot about or to keep it warm. KitchenAid has also given you a 7 shade setting that will allow you to make your toast to your preferred colour. You will never worry about over or under toasting your bread again. Clean up and storage is also simple with this toaster as it comes with a removable crumb tray as well as an under base cord storage. You will never have a jumble of wires in your cupboard or on your counter again with this toaster.
Why we liked it: extra-long and extra wide slots give you the best possible fit for larger slices of bread, and the high lift-lever will give you the ability to pry out smaller pieces without too much hassle. The 7 shade settings for toasting allow you to get the perfect browning on your toast every single time.
