Everything You Need
When you first start out with photography, getting everything that’s necessary can feel like a daunting task. Luckily, there are bundle kits available that provide you with everything you need to get started. These kits make it a lot easier to get everything that you need, and they can be a lot cheaper than individual parts.
This review is going to cover a bundle package from Canon. In our opinion, it’s one of the best deals on the market, and it would be difficult to find one that provides more bang for your buck. It has features that are perfect for beginners, but it doesn’t skimp on advanced features that more experienced photographers expect to have.
Without further delay, let’s go over the different parts of this bundle.
A Canon Rebel T7i DSLR camera is included in the bundle. The camera is attractive to the eye, and it packs a reasonable amount of power into its sleek shell.
The image processor that the T7i uses is a Digic 7. The Digic 7 processor is a fairly popular choice, and this camera utilizes a CMOS sensor to get the most out of it. When the two are combined, they take beautiful 24 megapixel photographs.
This camera is higher quality than the cameras in most of the other bundles available, but it’s not overtly complicated, either. So, experienced photographers can get a lot of use out of the T7i, but it’s also a great option for beginners to start with.
Several lenses are included with the Canon T7i bundle. The included 18-55 and 75-300 millimeter lenses will allow you to take pictures in the majority of situations, but a 58 millimeter closeup lens is also included to make it as easy as possible to take stunning closeup shots.
In addition, The T7i can also use lenses for Canon T3i cameras. So, you can keep using your old lenses if you had that model in the past. However, a lot of the auto-focus features that the T7i utilizes aren’t compatible with those lenses. You can still use them in addition to the included lenses, but you won’t be able to experience the more advanced features with them.
The bundle includes two 32 gigabyte memory cards. Both of the cards are Sandisk Ultra HD SDHC Class 10 cards. So, you can confidently store your precious memories on them without having to worry about them being deleted.
Canon Carrying Case
A Canon carrying case is included for easily storing your camera. You can also fit a few accessories in it as well. The bag isn’t as well built as the one included in the Nikon D5500 bundle, but it provides a little more room than that bag does. You should easily be able to fit the camera and two lenses in the main pouch. The memory cards, charging kit, and cleaning equipment included in the bundle can fit in the front pouch.
For times when you want to take your camera on an outdoors adventure, you may want to consider something a bit more sturdy, like a waterproof camera backpack.
The cleaning kit in this bundle isn’t as complete as the one that comes with the Nikon bundle, but it can get the job done. You get a cleaning pen and dust remover rag with the camera. It would have been nice to have gotten some of the little tools that came with the Nikon, but the pen and dust remover are more than enough for basic maintenance.
Two batteries are included with the T7i bundle. The batteries are 1140MAH, and they come with a USB charging kit to keep them both charged up at all times. The kit is simple. It comes with an A/C adapter and a USB cable.
Two different tripods are included in the bundle. For more traditional uses, the 58 inch video tripod is a reliable option. If you want to take pictures from more unique angles, you can use the included 12 inch Spider tripod. The Spider is a compact tripod with flexible legs. The one included in the bundle isn’t the best, but after market models are cheaply available. Even though it’s not the best one, it will handle the majority of tasks you use it for.
Viewfinder and Flash
You can expect to find an attachable viewfinder in your bundle package. This larger screen will allow you to find your target a lot faster than you would normally. To add to the T7i’s accessory list, an attachable flash system is included. It mounts to the top of the camera to brightly illuminate your subject for stunningly clear photos.
The included filter kit comes with three filters, and a carrying case is included for easy storage. While these aren’t something that a beginner will want to use frequently, they give the kit the ability to grow with you.
In our eyes, it’s hard to beat the amount of value provided by the Canon T7i bundle. The camera is powerful enough to impress professionals, but it’s also user friendly enough for beginners to use.
The accessories included in the bundle are all valid options for beginners, and a few of the accessories give beginners room to grow with the kit. For instance, it’s not likely that a beginner will use the filters, attachable flash, and close up lenses, but those can easily become important parts of their photography journey as they grow. The inclusion of these more advanced accessories means that beginners won’t have to go out and buy them separately after a few months of practice with the basic features.
All of these features add up to make the Canon T7i one of the best video cameras under 1000 dollars. You can easily spend hundreds more if you try to buy the parts separately, and the kit is one of the most complete bundles on the market.
You can look at the different bundles from Nikon and Fuji, but you’ll be hard pressed to find one of this quality.
